Question to all who taken Nclex recently

Published

I was wondering if you could post which publisher (ex: Saunders, Mosby, Kaplan, etc.) is MOST LIKE the questions you had on the Nclex, I am doing the Saunder's CD's, and I want to make sure that I don't walk into my Nclex exam and start hyperventilating at question 1.

Thanks.

The NCLEX questions that I received were most like the review I did online through NCSBN learning extension. It was also similar to Saunders.

Honestly, don't fret. So long as you have critical thinking skills, you'll do okay. You can never learn enough diseases or drugs or side effects, etc. to be truly prepared for the test - that would take a life-time!

I relied most on medical terminology to figure out the root words of the disorders that I didn't know and pathophysiology.

I must have used all the NCLEX review books I could find and I am sorry to say that as I sat down 2 days ago to take the BIG test I realized that it was nothing like i had ever taken before. I did about 5000 review questions and thought i was prepared..... NOT I was very different than i had expected. I have struggled over the last 48 hours tring to figure out how i could have studied different or how i was going to study to take the test again. I knew when i had left that i had failed. ...... But I was surprised this morning when i got my results that i had indeed passed.yipee

Good luck

Has any of you taken the HURST Review and if so did it help??
