There is a good chance that you will not be able to find a Chem class online..not sure why..Have you asked the school of your choice if there is a time line on your chemistry class that you have previously taken. if not ask...you may be surprised at what they say. HTH:rolleyes:
I want to apply to TWU, but my chem course is 5 years old (I think they require within 5 years)...do you think I could take an on line chem course?

I am in the process of taking an on-line general chem class through the university of Minnesota. You can search their web page for it. It is all self guided learning. No on-line work. You do the practice questions and mail them off to be graded. There are 4 open book/open notes tests. My buddy took it and said it was pretty much a breeze.
Make sure that your school of choice will accept whatever "distance Ed" chem course you take. Obviously, if it is offered by the school you want to apply in then you have a better chance. But be weary of other "online" courses, the school may require that the course be approved! Just a thought, best of luck...

hey kitty,
you can also check the university of new england. they have an online biochem class, that is a great primer for school. the school that i talked with and interviewed were more than willing to accept this in lieu of orgo (which i ended up taking anyway, which also helped !!) it's essentially self-paced, but is rather demanding. anyway, just another avenue.
enjoy !
