Question re: CA BRN!

Published

Is it really 3 to 10 days for names to appear on the brn website and may take longer from 2 to 4 weeks? What if your file is already complete? I know Suzanne have mentioned that it may be still on the desk of whoever is working on your file! Why is it that someone who either have taken the exam at the same day or a day or two days after youve taken the exam gets their names posted sooner 2 to 3 days after?! Also, does the brn go by alphabetically because i thought its by the day of your exam? Sorry im really losing hope! I wanted to know soon so i can take the next step :( thanks!

Hello, I'm still waiting as well. I took my exam on 2/13/09 and my name is still not up on the California BRN website. My friend took it the same day/location and we found her name on the website yesterday morning, boy is she lucky. Some of my other classmates waited as long as 4 business days, they took it on Monday and found out Friday morning. I just have one other question to add to this thread: I wonder if not having an interim permit affects the amount of time it takes to issue a license...if anyone has any idea please post. Good luck everyone and hang in there

Each file and results is checked by someone and depending on how they do their checking will depend on how soon you see results. Average we see is 10 days although some do post in 3 and others posted took over 10 days. Very hard to predict but suggest if you haven't heard anything in 2 weeks then to contact them and check on your file.

Interim permit will not make any difference to getting results

Does the days mean "working days"? 10 working days?

It can be up to one month. There is not one thing that you can do but wait. Please remember what we have posted already on this: If you do not hear anything after two weeks, then contact them to make sure that your file is actually complete. Trying to do it now, will only delay things even more if you look at it that way.
