Hi, signed up for A&P 1. Hoping to knock out 1 pre req a semester hoepfully 2 if I can afford it. I already have a degree so most general education classes are done except for a few science classes need to complete. Planning to apply for both LPN and ADN program's at the end of next year. Then try to apply for a BSN program towards the end of the spring of 2017.
Thinking of applying to Gateway and Northwestern anyone attend these program's working day/night shift's? Trying to seek feedback off anyone who has done these progams, believe they are mostly evening the part time programs.
Also curious if possible to attend a BSN program part time? Anyone atttend the state program's in CT? Are they mostly full time or the program's pretty flexible?
Appriecate the feedback.

Almost all BSN programs I looked into had both part and full time options, including the online programs.
If if you go with completing a LPN program it will take you longer to get the BSN even with a degree because those nursing courses do not transfer where as ADN nursing courses do. I transferred over 20 ADN nursing class credits towards my BSN. It's worth the wait to go for ADN or traditional BSN programs for the cost of LPN programs now. I was a LPN several years ago then had to bridge for RN then bridge again for BSN (almost finished) and I would have completed a traditional BSN within that time frame for about the same costs. I saved a small amount of money.
I am and I am not worried about time. It's more of being a nurse. If wait listed or turn down from an ADN program then the BSN/LPN are my back up plan's.
I get where you're coming from. That's what my feelings were when I became a LPN. However I always give honesty that I wish I went directly for the RN. Two nursing programs was a stressful few years! Also, the community college day programs offer evening clinicals too which isn't advertised but it's a nice option to have.
Cool did not know that I am hoping I can get to NVCC it's 3 miles away from where I live. Also partners with my school received my Bachelor's from West Conn.
? Had to reregister with the CC guess been awhile since I have been to the college.
Anywho not sure why it let me register for A&P, but now the classes are filled.
Any suggestions on what classes to take?
Debating between a Stats class, Psych class, Micro Class or Chem Class?

There are specific classes needed for the ADN. I would look online for the list before you jump in. A&P has a prerequisite, that is probably why it wont let you sign up. You might already have the psych requirement. You really need to speak to an advisor.
You definitely should speak with an advisor. Certain courses have prerequisites to them if you already have a a degree you should meet many of those pre courses. Also the advisor can inform you which courses are prerequisites for the nursing program (must be done prior to applying) and which are co requisites (courses that don't need to be finished before applying that you can take while waiting to hear back).
I signed up for Intro to Psych had to retake it due to length of time and when I completed the course long time ago GPA was a 1.0. Had option to CLEP, but decided just to retake it bring myGPA from my previous degree.
Figured will try to get into a program by 2018.
