Question about online review questions

Published

I looked into the QBank from Kaplan and really liked the sample and was about to purchase until I saw the price tag that came with it, ($300!!), is there another more reasonable priced online question bank that I could purchase? I have review books but I wanted to get used to doing questions on the computer.

Does your books come with cd's? Also nclex 3500 and 4000 are strictly cd's and contain around 4000 questions each. Nclex 4000 is the newest one out I believe. I know it's not Kaplan but it may be a good start until or if you come up with the cash. Also, kaplan has a strategy book that comes with a cd...I've read people passed NCLEX with just using that! I kind of wish I started off with these cd's before kaplan because the questions are very difficult and I think that would have better prepared me.(although you may be fresh out of school).

THanks. My nclex is July 14th so one of the reasons I dont want to spend the 300 is that I probably won't get much use out of the program. My 2 books did come with CD's with questions. Are the two CD ROM programs that you recommended pretty much like the CDs that come with the books?

Which books do you have? Either way I probably can't answer that:p...But the cd's seem to be pretty much the same in the way it's structured and level of difficulty. I'm using nclex 4000 now and I like the option of doing alternative style questions, Saunder's has that feature too...I really can't compare anything else. Maybe someone else could?

you take enroll for a 3 week course from NCSBN (the people that write the NCLEX) for $49. There are 1100 questions, and they were more critical thinking type questions and harder than Saunders in my opinion. That also comes with a ton of review material if you're interested. I didn't read the review stuff, but I did all of the questions.
