This might seem like a silly question but, what exactly are the purpose of the labs on my science classes? For example in A&P I, I have two regular classes per week (about 1 hr. and 15 mins each) plus a 3 hour lab each week. What goes on in the lab? I just have no idea what to expect! Thanks in advance!
JasmDasm and to anyone else who watches Code Blue....I looked up Charity Hospital just to read a little history on the hospital because I know it's old and I like history...anyway, this hospital had a lot of flood damage after hurricane Katrina and is no longer a hospital. Isn't that sad?! Anyway thought I would share.

Wow. Such a shame. So quickly we forget.
I liked the New Orleans hospital episodes better than the Savannah ones. Crunchymama, I like your idea of looking up that hospital's history, as I :redbeathe history too. I will start that up too, it couldn't hurt when you interview with a hospital that you know all about them. Thanks.

Yeah I was shocked. It's pretty sad that such a big hospital with such history isn't workable anymore. It's unbelievable that a "storm" can cause such damage. Oh and I'm such a history geek, lol....have you ever checked out that old asylum in Louisville, KY? It was used way back as a TB hospital and is now said to be haunted. I've heard they now offer tours which ticks me off because my husband and I used to live nearby. But at the time I never knew about the place. Anyway...it seems like a pretty interesting place!

I first saw that on Ghost Hunters. I think Sci-fi did another special on it as well. That was kind of hoaky, focusing on the hauntings, but they had a lot of interesting history and interviews with former patients. I'd love to check that place out sometime.
