Question for CPNE veterans

The Madison site had a little book that passers could write in for future CPNE testers. We got to read the encouraging words before starting any of our testing. It was kind of cool because I knew a few people who were going to be testing at that site after I did, so I wrote messages in there for them. Just curious--- do other sites have the same thing?

Racine has that book as well. But it is rumored that the same examiners rotate between the Wisconsin sites.

It didn't help me any but I wrote in it after I passed thinking that it might help someone else.

I did my CPNE at Long Beach, CA . There was no log book I remember . I had spoken with other nurses who had taken the test and that helped.

Columbus has the same type of book. I definitely wrote my words of encouragement in it. I also signed on to become a member of the peer network so other students can contact me as part of a support group.

I've heard the rumor that the CEs rotate throughout the WI sites too. In fact, I asked the CA if this was true. All she could tell me was that a CE has to live within 50 miles of the test site. So it is possible.

Reading the log and seeing the words of all the excited passers got me kind of excited and actually motivated me a bit.
