Queensborough Community College (QCC) - Nursing program

Hi guys I'm currently a student at QCC majoring in nursing. Does anyone know that do I need medical experience or voluntary experience at hospitals to be better considered for nursing program by the time when I apply? Or just focus on the GPA?

yea I recently finished my main pre reqs with a 3.84 and I am taking amp 2 this semester and micro next semester and taking the NEX next month

Are u applying the program Spring 2025 or fall 2025?

Do u think that I can submit the application during next Spring if I finished with all the required courses next Spring and taking Microbiology over the Summer 2025?

The problem is how they decide whether or not to interview you if the total GPA does not come out? Since we submit the application during the semester?

the grade u get for microbio doesnt effect your pre req GPA its just a class u need to take to better your chances of getting in
