I thought the interview was only to see how well you communicate

That's what the professor said who did my interview. One in my group asked her why is it that there are applicants with a 4.0 GPA but didn't get accepted., and she said because they couldn't construct a sentence in English.

interview takes 80% in this school. By the way, my English is fluent.

thank you for your kind words

congratulations on getting into the program and best of luck

you will be a great nurse in the future

Hi Kevin! I was the girl you talked to for awhile about Hunter and other things after our interview for the program. I was so sure you were going to get in so I am deeply confused and angry for you, I really encourage you to talk to the department on why you were rejected and with the interviewer, her name was Janet Franzesa, a mental health nurse. She was blonde I believe, not too sure, but I think it's important to know why, so you can decide whether to try again or try somewhere else, but whichever you choose, it's important to know what might be your flaws or things that could hurt you. I believe it was your interview as I personally think it could be worked on with how you answered but nevertheless I would've never expected a rejection. No matter what, you will succeed so don't feel discouraged!! Enjoy the Summer.

not only confusing, but angry! Not fair at all.

When you called them were you able to speak to the professor who did your interview or just a nursing department person who answers the phone?

Just a department person. If it's interview problem,  she won't give you a clear reason.

I have seen at least 3 students facing this unfair issue. I recommend you go to the office, talk to them in person. We are working so hard and get the best GPA. We do not have big mistakes in the interview. This should not be the result.

I do not feel safe here, but tranfering to other schools need TEAS test and diff preclinical courses. So it is hard to make a decision.
