I took the NCLEX on 5/11/17 and it shut off at 150. I did the PVT trick about an hour later when I got home and got the good pop up. However another hour passed and I no longer had the good pop up and paid the $200. Not sure what to think here.

it took your money, there's a high probability that you failed.

There's a few hundred threads on this topic and the general consensus is that since the exam is graded twice (first at shut-off and then sometime during the next 24 hours for quality control) you shouldn't do the PVT until after that time. Most of the time people who do it right away don't have surprises later but sometimes it happens, like you found out.
if you paid $200 and failed it doesn't much matter because you would need to pay for another registration anyway. If you paid $200 and passed there is no way to get a refund, you signed that away by doing the PVT in the first place.
What to think? That you probably failed and should wait for official results to make your next move.

Did you pass? I was curious...The same thing happened to me...I got the good pop-up all day and then tried it again the next morning around 6am and I did the trick and it took my money...Do you think I passed or failed
