I took my NCLEX on Friday June 20th, 2014 and it shut off at 75 questions. I felt so defeated and was convinced I had failed because about a third of my exam consisted of 'select all that apply questions' and I just felt so unsure throughout the whole test. After leaving the testing center, I consulted google and learned about the Pearson Vue Trick (the one where you try to re-register for the NCLEX and if it takes you to the credit card info page, you failed, or if you get a pop-up saying that you have already scheduled this exam and cannot register again at this time, you passed). Most of the discussions I read regarding this trick confirmed that it is, in fact, accurate but there were a few people who claimed otherwise. I decided to give it a try and when I attempted to re-register I got the 'good pop up'. This gave me a glimmer of hope that maybe I hadn't failed after all but those couple of people who claimed it was not accurate really hindered my ability to find relief. My purpose in creating this topic is to hopefully help alleviate the others who are in the position I was in all weekend and happily say that as of 6/20/2014, the trick still works because today I found out that I passed my NCLEX! I cannot say that it is 100% accurate because glitches do occur but it seems to me like it is right more times then not. It is a quick way to help relieve your curiosity during the tedious 48 hours of waiting for your quick results or the dreadful 6 weeks of waiting for your license in the states that don't offer quick results. GOOD LUCK TO ALL TAKING THEIR NCLEX!
