PVAMU Spring 2021

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has applied to the PVAMU nursing program for Spring 2021? I was wondering if my HESI score of 92% overall was competitive enough to get in? I'm super nervous!!

Is it a first come first serve basis? I just recently applied to the program and the deadline is September 1.

Thanks! Hoping to hear back from someone.

Hello!  On this site, there are two approved ways of creating a special space for your cohort.

Hey everyone! I got an e-mail this morning asking to verify some information. Like name, DOB and SSN. I hope this is good news?!? Has anyone else received this e-mail?

What’s everybody regular and science GPA?

My regular GPA is a 3.8 and my science GPA is a 3.9. I e-mailed ---------------------- to see when we'd be finding out if we got in, she said they should start e-mailing soon - beginning  of November. I'm soooo anxious!

Has anyone received an acceptance from PVAMU yet? The UTHealth group I'm in have already started receiving acceptances. I'm so nervous!

Oh my I didn’t have a letter head in mines!!! I hope ?? I don’t get rejected because of this! I didn’t know!

One of my professor's wrote their first letter of recommendation for me, so I don't know if he put a letter head or not. He never sent it to me, he sent it straight to the school so I have no idea ? sigh

Really I didn’t get email for verification!! ?...

I haven't heard back from anyone since then, so I'm not sure if it meant anything. Maybe it was just to confirm that it was the right information ?

I received the same email.

I emailed ------------------- and asked if she had an estimate of when we would hear back on decisions and she told me any day now. Fingers crossed!

I e-mailed the school this morning with the same question, they replied with -soon. I'm hoping we find out this week!
