PVAMU Spring 2010

Anyone applying to PVAMU CON? I don't hear alot of people talking about it so I wanted to make a thread for any hopefuls out there. I applied to other schools as well but I gave up on them and I think PVAMU is my last chance.

If anyone is attending PVAMU or is applying for Spring 2010 post up your grades I like to see what my chances are. I heard it was first come first served? I applied at the deadline date on October 1 so it really worries me :no:. Anyways here are my grades

University GPA: 3.45

Department GPA: 3.52

Supporting GPA: 3.63

NET scores

Math: 97%

Reading: 64% :banghead:

I got accepted into the program for Spring 2010, if anyone else did post here!!!

I'm not sure if i got accepted but I got an email saying that my app. is still in process and it's a mandatory meeting that I have 2 attend on Tuesday to recieve information about the first semester and if we don't attend it could affect our application status...And the email also said I should be recieving more information within a week!! I was sooo excited to have heard something from the CON!

sO U ALREADY RECIEVED A ACCEPTANCE LETTER IN THE MAIL? So Soon??

I turned my application in on October first and got it on October 15. Its a provisional admission/acceptance, since I finished all my classes, all I have to do is get my background check, drug screen, fill out some forms, physical exam etc... and I will be done with all that. Its basically an acceptance. Yeah I am surprised it was so soon.

Getting in was the easy part, so I hope you are ready to buckle down and study hard because it definitely won't be easy but you will make it through. I will be graduating in December, but if either of you have any questions about what to expect and how to prepare, feel free to ask me at any time.

How do we prepare going into our first semester? My friend who started last spring, loaned me her first semester books and told me to read ahead, I hope the books are the same this semester so I don't have to buy new ones. But I been playing with my PS3 all semester :cry: .. LOL
