When should I bug my school about the status of my transcripts/degree if I still haven't been told I passed or failed NCLEX RN?
I took my test 2 weeks ago, and I don't have results, yet my classmates who took the exam after me had their license number posted on the BRN about 2 days after they took their exam. In fact someone who took the exam 3 days ago already has their license up on the California BRN site. I've been told delays are likely are result of record problems, but how can I tell if it's just sitting in a pile of records at the BRN or if my school actually screwed up and made a mistake in sending my information?
I did try the bug with the registration on Pearson Vue, and it does show the "good" popup.
I'm in this weird limbo now where I'm applying for jobs and I can't list a license on my resume, but I need to submit those resumes or I lose the chance of being considered, yet I'm also concerned my application will just be tossed aside because other people applying likely have an RN license.

I just had this exact problem! The issue holding mine up was that my BON had misplaced my background check that was sent to them in APRIL! Lol. Needless to say, I've been grumpy for most of the day. They did, however tell me that getting you ATT depends on receiving your transcript so that is not likely the problem in your case if you've already tested. I would call and check in with the BON, though. That's what I did and got my issue resolved (thank goodness) in a couple of hours. :)
Good luck!

I started calling BRN after a week of waiting. I alternated between calling BRN and my school every other day. It turned out my file was incomplete... my school couldn't (and didn't) ever get it right. I ended up having to send my own transcripts over.
