The thing is i used to work with a Hospice agency a while ago and resigned.
4 moths later they are calling me to do emergency visits and death pronouncements as "favor" (they will pay) cause they dont have staff, i dont have any kind of contract with them, my question is am i putting on risk my RN license?? can i get in trouble if i go and do these visits and death pronouncements with out being an employee at that agency?

if you are on their payroll, they are liable

It sounds like you are being paid as an independent nurse.
You should have adequate malpractice insurance to cover yourself.
This is particularly important because you are doing emergency visits as well as pronouncements.
Not all family members keep their wits about them during hospice emergencies and there are lawsuits that reflect that.
