Unsure of how to obtain Ohio Registered Nurse License if already holding valid Puerto Rico RN license.
We have an RN applicant from Puerto Rico who would need to obtain an Ohio RN license- the Ohio Board of Nursing hasn't responded back. Thank you

Have you reviewed the information included in the Licensure by Endorsement Application Instructions?

It's not by endorsement as PR does not take the NCLEX. The nurse needs to apply for a nursing license by examination as a foreign educated nurse. The instructions are here:

As mentioned on thread, the person would need to apply/pass NCLEX for Ohio. She should know this by now. There is no endorsement between PR license to RN license (states). The only exemption is Florida that would endorse but only after working in PR as a licensed nurse for at least 2 years (other requirements).
