Has anyone who applied for Providence TIP Program in Southern California for the Spring 2017 cohort receive any information or interview?

Can anyone tell me the process of applying to the TIP program? I'm interested in applying for the January 2018 cohort. Thanks

Their app just opened up on their website, you apply directly to which hospitals you want to apply to and specify which specialties you want. Not sure of the timeline of when we find out about interviews and what not.

They are asking for 3 Letters of rec, one must be from previous employer, but ive never worked before :( Also, do u have ideas on personal reference is about? idk who to ask, does it have to be nursing related?

If you have never had any job, I would probably stick with another professional/school reference. Possibly give them a call / email to find out what they would prefer. For a personal reference I asked my preceptor during my senior practicum in the ER, so mine was nursing related but it doesnt have to be. Just someone who knows you well and can speak to your character!

Does anyone know the starting pay once getting into PSJMC new grad program?

I saw on another thread that St John's starts at 35/hr, I assume it will be fairly similar across all the Providence hospitals

New grads in Burbank got $39.50 an hour in 2016. So it should be about $41/hr for 2018.
