Providence TIP Program 2017

Published

Has anyone who applied for Providence TIP Program in Southern California for the Spring 2017 cohort receive any information or interview?

When does the Spring 2017 program starts? my friend started in the January cohort and by April he will finish his orientation. I missed the deadline because I just took my NCLEX. Which facility did u apply to? When did u apply? my preceptor's manager told her that they already hired for the cohort that will start in April. Good luck

The Spring 2017 cohort starts in April. I applied to St Joseph, Tarzana, Holy Cross, and St Johns. Was just wondering if I should still keep my hopes up or if they've already hired for that cohort since the website gives no information. Thanks for the info. Which location did they already hire for?

April is still a month away so hopefully you hear Something soon. Also apply online to other hospital to keep ur options open and to gain experience in interviewing . I interviewed for ICU in Orange County and out a lot of people I was chosen but not sure if I will accept since pay offer is very low and I really want to work at providence san pedro . Little company of mary- San Pedro and Torrance already hired .

April 10th start date! I was offered a position at St. Josephs at the end of Feb, but as of last week I believe there were still interviews going on at least at some of the locations. I think each location is different, not to mention not all candidates accept...

Best of luck to you all, let us know if you hear back!

I was offered a position in San Pedro and our start date will be April 3rd. I am in the pre boarding process right now. good luck to you all

How long after you do background check and drug test you get called for a physical? When do we expect to receive the information about the orientation and where and what time exactly?

My onboard specialist was pretty MIA until after my drug test cleared, and then she was on top of it. For me, she gave me links to all the documentation I needed via e-mail to bring with me first day and told me to contact my manager for more specific directions related to my floor. I was called for my physical pretty quickly afterward, however it was scheduled for the end of March. Hope that helps!

Congrats MoroccoRN! Everyone I know currently in the TIP program loves it!

Thank you! Congrats to you too.

The last think I heard from my onboard specialist is to send my BLS card. I recieve a copy of Backgro7nd check saying that I meet the hospital standard. How did u find out that you drug test is cleared? I did mine March 3.

Have you spoken directly to the main contact at the recruitment support team (onboarding) yet? The initial recruiter should have put you in contact with this person - it's the person most of those auto preboarding e-mails are from (NOT the

No news is honestly good news, you're probably right on track so they have no reason to worry about you and are dealing with candidates with hold ups. I know mine was delayed in contacting me, I had to call her myself. Just bug them. Good luck! :)[/COLOR]
