Providence Portland, OR NEW GRAD Residency 2017

Published

Did anyone apply for the Providence Oregon NEW GRAD Residency 2017? I was recently asked to provide them references and I haven't even been invited to an in- person interview yet, interesting... They said this is part of their selection process and if they like what they see then I will get invited to interview for Jan. the 9th. I hear Providence is great organization to work for.

Specializes in NICU, RNC.

It is common practice for new grad residency programs to require a cover letter, letters of recommendation, and transcripts along with their application prior to scheduling interviews. I had to do the same for all 3 new grad residencies that I applied for (different organizations).

Wowsers! Thanks for your response. We will see how it goes...

Did you hear any news I also applied but haven't heard anything just turned in all the references?

Nothing on my end yet. I was hoping to hear back from them last week but I'm hopeful we will hopefully hear back from them by tomorrow or by the end of the week.

Yeah. Well goodluck to us. Lol

Did you apply for any specific specialty? Let me know if you get a call. Thanks!

Just an FYI... I got a rejection email today. Good luck to you!

Ya the same. Maybe next one. í ½í¸’ I wanted to do maternity or ER maybe it made a difference which area you choose

Thank you for the updates! No rejection email yet, but no call today - keeping my fingers crossed. They said in the original job posting that interviews would be Monday the 9th so can't imagine they would call any later than tomorrow. Good luck to you both in your search!
