Hello! Has anyone who applied to Providence when applications opened up on June 6th heard back yet regarding setting up an interview? I was told the process is different from last year. They said they would reach out for setting up interviews starting June 12th.

I feel like it has to depend on location/unit too. I used to work at providence orange 3 years ago and the CNAs on my units didn't do those "official" interviews and just spoke to the manager.
Ya!! I saw a girl leave the interview and she was talking to one of the managers and was like -
"Tell your mom I said hi ! " so you know she had a REALLY good chance to get in , which is super unfair. I got a job offer as a dialysis nurse and I REALLY REALLY don't want it .. but it looks like I might have just how I am seeing things pan out right now.

Does anyone know what they grade on or give points for ? I mean I have a BSN / I passed my NCLEX (I have my license ) I have a bachelors in psych , a masters in public health , I'm a public health nurse .. I have so many certs - ecg, MAB , la fire card , ACLS, BLS I belong to the critical care nursing society , I held 2 full time jobs while going to school .. it's like what else ? Because I don't work on the floor ? 🥲

today sadly its just who you know a lot of time. and then luck you get an interview and land the questions correctly. but those who didn't go in, keep applying
RNinLAOC said:That is true they picked even nursing students they preferred from certain schools too..so that's why don't put your hope high on any hospital.. it hard already and competitive
Very ! And unfair .. but if your looking for a job - just know fresenius is hiring for dialysis nurses for their new grad positions .
