Providence New Grad 2025 Interviews

Published

Hello! Has anyone who applied to Providence when applications opened up on June 6th heard back yet regarding setting up an interview? I was told the process is different from last year. They said they would reach out for setting up interviews starting June 12th.

For those who interviewed at MV, did anyone ask or hear when selected candidates would hear about an admission decision? I believe it was 2-3 weeks, but with the holiday next week, I was wondering if that would be factored in. Thank you!

They told me it would be in a week. I interviewed Tuesday

I don't want to be dramatic , but I am already getting kind of sad & pessimistic since some of you have said some people have gotten offers as early as the day after their interview . I am internal and I have not heard anything. I'm trying to stay positive... but right now it's a little difficult.

Last time when they host the virtual info meeting, I asked them if internal will get any 'extra point' and they said no, all are based on your interview, the only advantage for internal is you can apply it few days earlier and you will be more likely to get an interview time slot. Don't be discouraged, keep applying!

Damn in a way its nice because its fair game for everyone but if I was an internal thatd be kinda disappointing. Like what do u mean my years of working here doesnt play a factor but the 20minutes of asking me questions you guys pulled out of nowhere does.

Yes !! Like so disappointing ! I work here , I've given so much & contributed so much .. I would think there's a benefit of being an employee

Those questions were really out of nowhere...LOL

What questions?

IDK I have a hard time believing that is correct. being internal has to count for something. or if anything that applies at the location that that person said it and not all providence locations.

Yeah I really feel for u and I'm sure you work very hard. But I hope you don't give up and stay resilient! Reading other peoples threads for other hospitals too it might take a lot of rejections to finally land a new grad job but like another person said it only takes one!

I feel like it has to depend on location/unit too. I used to work at providence orange 3 years ago and the CNAs on my units didn't do those "official" interviews and just spoke to the manager.

More competition with recent new grads too
