  1. I have recently started my new position as the infection preventionist and employee health director at a critical access hospital and need all the help I can get. And tips, tricks, advice would be greatly appreciated. I also deal with work comp and our facility is undergoing construction right now and will be for the next three years. The current IP will be with me for two more weeks and then I’m all alone. I feeling a little overwhelmed right now but I think I will be okay once I establish my own routine. I’m already an APIC member and I am doing a lot of HQIC webinars right now. I do not have any IP experience but I was a clinic nurse for 8 years so the employee health with vaccines and work comp stuff isn’t so bad. Of course all nurses know about infection prevention but I have never really specialized in it. sorry for the long post! And thanks in advanced!!
  2. Are school used the ATI program and I had the books and practice tests online. I also had a NCLEX-RN MOSBYS for the management class, and I bought the Kaplan 2016 strategies, practice test and review that had a 265 question practice test at the back of the book. The key is questions lots and lots of practice questions and reading the rationales.

  6. I took NCLEX yesterday and got all 265 questions I'm really sad. I don't wanna do the Pearson vue trick I don't have an extra $200 laying around.
