Just call the programs your interested in, be honest about your grades and ask what your chances are. They will tell you. Here, the ADN program is more competitive, because it is significantly cheaper. They get several hundred applicants each se...
Can you email them to me? [email protected] My first career was an HR consultant, and I have suggestions, but its hard to type them in this format and I also want to see how your resume is formatted overall. Also, if you have a cover letter.....
Personal experience here. I have had 2 c/s and both times received only Norco once out of surgery (no PCA) and was discharged 2 days post op with 600mg Mortin only.

I have 4 kids (9,7,6 &2) and am finishing up my pre reqs this summer. I start an ADN program at the end of August! It's not as hard as I thought it would be. Ease yourself in with maybe 1 or 2 classes only your first semester! Good luck!
My school requires a lab portion with both AP1 and AP2. Check to see if you can fulfill a lab portion, if required, with an online course. I'm I'm A&P 1 right now, in person. It's a fairly easy class as long as you study. There is a lot of ma...
I hadn't had a science course prior to HS (1998 for me) before I took the teas. The OP is right...if you can take your pre req first, it really will help. If not...it's still posible to do well!
Here is what I did... I walked out with an 86.4% on my first try. I bought the teas 5 study guide (not 6). I skimmed each section and marked the sections I didn't feel confident in. Then I went back to each section and made flash cards to study fr...
I thought that the actual exam was a bit easier than the practice tests. My scores Practice a - 83% Practice b - 79% Actual teas - 87% I scored significantly better on math and science on the actual teas, and significantly worse in English and readi...
I partied WAY too much at NIU when I was there, lol. It's also where I met my husband (we lived a few rooms apart in Grant C). :) I transfered to SXU after 2 years of NIU and that's where my BA is from. It's likely where I will go to bridge to ...
I used the teas v manual. What worked for me was to make flashcards for each section. For example in the science section of the book, I had flash cards grouped together for the cardiac system, the reproductive system, etc... limit the cards to 1-2...
I took mine a few weeks ago. I mainly used the teas v study guide and then printed a few online math worksheets for practice. :) I ended up with an 86.4% overall. Good luck!

Did you get a print out at the end of your test? Mine had my average score and each sections individual score on it. I received it as soon as I was done with the test. As for the questions they throw out....it is my understanding that there are set...
I got in! My letter arrived yesterday. :) I went to NIU in 2001-2003! I loved it there. I'd go back in a heart beat if it wasn't too far to commute back and forth.

All we had to take was Chem 101 or high school Chem. I also took micro biology before A&P, but it's not a pre req to AP.... just required for me program and it worked better schedule wise for me to take it prior to A&P
I'm in the south burbs (just applied into Moraine valley ADN program for fall 2017 and waiting to hear back)... I went the ADN route because the hospitals near me (Christ, Little Company of Mary and Palos Hospital - all within 10 minutes) all just s...
Linz702 did you apply for Spring 2017? Jusp wondering if you got in or not? I have a good GPA (3.6), did fairly good on the TEAS (87%) but have only taken micro so far (A) and don't have any certifications.... so I'm not sure how I will end up ranki...
Check the hiring section online for the hospitals near you. My area hires ADN and they all just say "gratuation from an accredited program required". Looking at the job posting will tell you if you will be able to find a job with an ADN or not.
Family....I have 4 kids (9,7,6,&2) and a husband who works 60 hours a week - I feel your pain, lol! You need to minimize and PLAN!! Minimize time commitments..... limit activities, and learn to say no when people ask for help (coaching, bake sale...
