Nope, and I was wondering the same. I e-mailed the recruiter, since she said we'd get it in a week or so.

PICU or Pediatric Oncology
Hi! While I do not have RN experience in the pediatric heme/onc unit, I was a nursing assistant. What I know for sure about parents is that 99% of the time, our kids have a family member present 24/7. I know you are asking about comparisons to the PICU, but compared to the other med-surg floors, onc parents are involved and dedicated. They really made my job easy, emotionally and physically. But it really depends on your hospital demographics and who you serve. Maybe some RNs can chime in and add to this thread. I've always been interested in both of these settings, as many onc kids get sent back and forth from PICU.

Childrens Medical Center of Dallas July 2016 Residency
I looked through an old thread for the residency at Children's Dallas. Some people got their offers 4 weeks after their interviews.

Thanks! We got a hold of each other and confirmed that the good news was an offer. I am not sure if they are done or not. I got the call yesterday around 5:30 central time, which is kind of after regular business hours.

The recruiter called me today saying she had "good news" for me. I was unavailable, so it was a voicemail, but I will be calling tomorrow first thing to see what this good news is! I thought you all would like to know CVICU calls may be starting.[emoji79]

I remember feeling a little strange when they didn't validate my ticket after my tour. Where I currently am, that's like the first consideration for going anywhere and the first thing offered in any customer service job. I didn't ask and they didn't offer. Obviously a tour is a little different than an interview, but if you think about it, they don't pay for you to print your portfolio or for your business attire for the interview either. If you want it, you gotta fund it. ("You" is used generally)

Still waiting for CVICU as well.

I did. I asked at the end when they may let me know if it all works out. I always forget details when I'm nervous, so I can't remember if she said I'd know BY the 28th. Someone else posted that they'd let her/him know BY the 28th. I mean, either way, it's just a waiting game. They'll let us know when they let us know! [emoji143]🻠Or maybe you weren't asking me...lol

It does say starting the 28th, but I can't remember what the interviewers told me. I think they said by the 28th. I just don't want the 28th to come an go without knowing if that's the end or beginning. Anyway, I might email tomorrow. It doesn't affect other offers, so I'll try to be patient, too.

Did you get a reply? I'm hesitant to email the recruiter, but I'm still not sure if notifications are sent out by the 28th or starting the 28th.

Seton RN residency July 2016
I've also just applied for the Part II application for DCMC. Does anyone know if there is a timeline, or if things are kind of done on a rolling basis? Or more importantly, what's the turn around time for interview invitations?

Childrens Medical Center of Dallas July 2016 Residency
I was going to post that, since the second interview was more like a meet-and-greet, I can't imagine not getting an offer. I tried looking through past threads, and no one said they did not get an offer after their unit interview. But does anyone know if that's true? I don't want to give myself false hopes, but it just didn't seem like the interview was used to "weed" candidates.

I haven't asked that particular question. During my interview, the managers explained that the recruiter may be letting people know around March 23 but most likely by the 28th. It seems like a few pieces of this process differed from the given information on the website, so maybe we will hear sometime during the week of March 21.
