  1. I am about to begin an accelerated BSN/MSN program. I'm wondering how much extracurriculars, such as community service and holding leadership positions, matter for my nursing profession. I'm planning on practicing as a NP after graduating and I'm wondering if having those extracurriculars matter in finding a job. I might also pursue a DNP in the future. I'm still deciding on which school to attend. One school offered me a Fuld Fellowship which will provide me with leadership positions, look good on a resume and may make me stand out from my peers, but it's not my top choice school for many reasons. But is the fellowship worth it enough to come to this school? I feel like in high school my extracurriculars to helped me get into a good college, and in college my extracurriculars helped me get into a good grad school and jobs, but once I'm already in grad school, do they help greatly in my career? Thanks in advance!

    School Rankings from past years

Yup, they do rank nursing schools and schools by specialty. I couldn't find anything from past years though during my search.

    School Rankings from past years

I know people say school rankings don't really matter, but as someone who is trying to consider multiple factors in deciding on a school, does anyone know the US News rankings of schools and specialties from past years? Do they change a lot from year to year? Thanks :)

    MGH Direct NP program 2016

Thanks! Do you mind making the group closed instead of public so we can post things without everything on facebook seeing? Accepted students can still request to join a closed group :)

Who wants to go to Emory? Summer 2013 ABSN/MSN

Hi guys, are there any current students at Emory's ABSN/MSN program who would be willing to answer some of my questions? I was accepted for the program this year and don't know too much about it. Thanks!

    Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 Program

I thought that tuition is $21,000 per semester, and there are 8 semesters total (4 BSN, 4 MSN, unless you're doing dual specialty) so total tuition for the entire program is $168,000. Could someone confirm that? I heard the BSN and MSN tuition is the exact same.

    Yale GEPN 2016

Thanks DoulaMe! Do you know what US News changed about their ranking criteria to make Yale drop to 22? What was it ranked before? Are there rankings every year? (I heard it was every 4 years)

    Reneging on offer?

Hi all, I was lucky enough to get into a nursing school with a scholarship, and need to decide if I want to accept/put down a deposit by a certain date. However it is not my top choice and my top choice school releases decisions at a later date. Am I able to put a deposit down and then not attend if I get into my top choice? Or is that not allowed? I remember when I applied early decision to my undergrad institution, the decisions were binding, and if a student changed their mind on a school they'd get rejected from both schools. Is that the same case with nursing schools? Thanks!
