  1. I start on Monday too. I seriously can't wait to get started. I hear how tough it is, and I want to find out for myself. I also want to start so we can hurry up and graduate lol. We are all going to ROCK nursing school! ?
  2. Thank you! One of my friends who made it in with me has a 3.7 GPA and an 80 on the TEAS. A 3.7 GPA is great!
  3. Hello! It seems like GPAs and TEAS score were all over the place in the accepted class. Also, they accepted 24 students this semester instead of 16 like they did last semester (which is a great thing!) My stats: 4.0 GPA and 92 TEAS
  4. Congrats!!!!!
  5. I know a lot of people will tell you not to do it - a lot of people told me the same. Ultimately, you are the one who knows what you're capable of and all of the commitments you have to juggle. I just wanted to let you know that it IS possible! Best of luck with whatever you decide!
  6. Hello, I was in a similar situation, except it had been over 10 years since I'd taken A&P (the courses expired). I ended up having to take micro, A&P 1 and A&P 2 all in one semester in order to meet the school's nursing application deadline. I quit working and studied my *** off and made A's in all the classes. It was a HUGE time commitment, but if you're willing to do what it takes then go for it. I had several people tell me that I couldn't do it, but I'm starting nursing school next month. ?
  7. I hate it that ALL of the awesome people I've met didn't make it in. ? Chelsea, I love your energy, and I appreciate all that you do to keep the FB group informed and engaged. I am just guessing, but I think WhittT was accepted as well. xPower, I hope you keep striving to get into a program somewhere. Please don't let this temporary setback stop you from achieving your goals.
  8. I see that Aiken Tech started sending out acceptance emails today. I wish Augusta Tech would get on it too!!
  9. I. Can. Not. Wait. I’m so ready to get started! I know nursing school is going to be a crazy and stressful ride, but I know it’s going to be so worth it in the end. I just need to get accepted....
  10. The FB group name is Augusta Tech LPN-ADN 2019-2020 Hopefuls. WhittT, who did you take for Micro and A&P 2? I had Rizk for A&P and Osborn/Wiles for Micro
  11. I just sent a request. Nrob Rob
  12. Where/when did everyone take their prereqs? I just finished the last of my classes at Augusta Tech (Spring semester).
  13. Lol, I understand! I am pretty impatient by nature, so this is tough for me too. I shared a link to this thread with a couple applicants, and I believe they may have shared it as well. It looks like they are just lurking for now. ? The GPA's range from 3.5 to 4.0 and TEAS 73 and up.
  14. I know several others who have applied. We are all just waiting...
