DCCC Nursing 2015
Hey Val and Jweicheng, Page 13 of this packet has the schedule for class and clinicals : http://www.dccc.edu/sites/default/files/admissions-financial-aid/admissions/special-application-procedures/2015%20Delaware%20County%20Packet%20Guidelines.pdf I found the thread for 2014 really helpful... i remember someone posting a bout scrubs, shoes and books that we would need. I don't want to misquote anyone, so i suggest just reading their posts instead of mine. I think that will all be discussed at orientation as well, but of course - we're all super anxious! Val, I also remember reading someone posting either on the 2013 or 2014 thread about the schedule, and specifically mentioning that we weren't allowed to choose our section . Also - i think (from information session) that clinicals begin 2 months after the start of the first semester. Before that its 2 hours in sim lab on clinical days. Definitely check out the 2014 thread... most of this stuff was discussed towards the end, so look for that!

Ahhh!! Thank you so much! That puts my mind at ease a little. I got a 79 and got the letter saying that they had everything in and all that so I'm guessing that's a good sign?! Lol not to jump to conclusions or anything... And TOTALLY totally get you about the test and petitioning period! Glad you got in!!

That's a great reading score :) I think you'll definitely have a chance at day since there are more seats available. you also have a better chance of getting in because you selected the day/evening option. Good luck to you!

DCCC Nursing 2015
Good thinking - waiting to email her :) I agree! If I get in, I would be so grateful to get in ...I'd make sure I could attend! I guess life just happens some times and circumstances aren't right. But all the better if it gives someone on the wait list a chance to enter the program! Stay hopeful!

DCCC Nursing 2015
Congrats on your score! Ive read a lot of posts on the Dccc 2014 petition thread about people on the Chester county wait list getting in. I've heard people say that many drop out before the program starts and many are unable to meet the financial deadline as well. Nancy has also said that on avg about 1-7 people from the wait list normally get in the evening program. You may want to email her asking about this. I hope that you get in, and if you dont - and make the waitlist, i hope that you are high up on that so that you have a better chance of getting in. Goodluck to you! Try not to stress out too much about it ! (i know easier said than done - but still )

DCCC Nursing 2015
Hey Dani, on the nursing application for marple campus day program it says "Seats will be awarded to those students with the highest TEAS scores ranking with the overall composite score first, then reading, then science, then math, then English language & usage" Im not sure if the policy is different for Chester county, but just wanted to post this in case any one else was worried about scores, ranking, etc. Goodluck to everyone who applied! :)
