I agree with the above. Make it through this semester and take a solid week or 3 off. But don't take a semester off, like I did. It makes it so much more painful and longer if you do.
Ah, well since I paid my $1065, I would've thought it would be done a little quicker, but oh well. Can you still sign up for the classes without having this MAP thing
Good Sir, As a fellow medic and also in the program I wish you well. Two of our nurses (in the last year) and our ER director (a few years ago) went through excelsior and passed it. So it is doable....
I got the studygroup101 notes and text books as well. But I also got the last edition of most of the books. I just couldn't fathom paying that much for some of them, when their earlier counterparts...
I was told to take both at once by one of the nurses who just graduated from Excelsior. He told me that it was doable and if he didn't, it was going to add something like 8 weeks to his schedule....
It took them about 3-4 weeks to get through all my transcripts. I have also recently sent them a updated version, since I had to retake A+P 1 and 2... (I'm in Florida.... grrrrr). Anyways, I learned...
