Rick Becker, RN, holds a bachelor of arts in theology from Seattle Pacific University and a master of arts in theology and Christian ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He worked several years in religious education and parish ministry before returning to school at Bethel College to study nursing. Rick is a two-time Bethel graduate, having received his ADN in 2000 and his BSN in 2004. Rick worked as a staff nurse in oncology at Elkhart General Hospital for nine years, and also has two years of experience as a home health nurse for Hospice of St. Joseph County. Rick completed a master of science in nursing education at Ball State University in 2008. Rick and his wife, Nancy, are the proud parents of seven boisterous children. The Beckers make their home in South Bend where Nancy spends much of her time shuttling children around town, and where Rick spends his leisure hours performing janitorial duties.
