  4. U of Calgary Degree Holder Winter 2015

Hi fingers_crossed, I'm pretty sure it's just a "typo" by the system lol. I think most of us haven't got an offer yet, because the faculty admission officer is still out of town. She should be back this weekend.

  9. U of Calgary Degree Holder Winter 2015

Btw Quartz, do you know if the admission decision is solely based on gpa? And do you mind sharing your gpa for your last 10 half courses?

  13. U of Calgary Degree Holder Winter 2015

Wow...that's unbelievably fast. In fact I received an Email from the nursing department a few days ago saying the earliest offer won't go out until late Oct. It seems now some of us may get offers sooner than that. As for myself, not only the status ...

So glad that a post is finally created specifically for the winter 2015 intake of BNDH!
  15. New User - UofC Accelerated Program help

Sorry I didn't see that you've already done the readings for physiology. Now you can definitely go for the challenge test for Bio 230/235 at Athabasca U.
  16. New User - UofC Accelerated Program help

The Sep 30 deadline is for U of C. I'll suggest you to call the program advisor or enrollment service and ask if they can allow you to complete physiology in Sep. Don't forget to tell them you will take the course at Athabasca U. Good luck!
  17. New User - UofC Accelerated Program help

Degree-holder's route is better for you, since you've already completed a BSc. Also, you may want to consider Western U, since its admission process is very similar to that of U of C.
  18. New User - UofC Accelerated Program help

Go check Athabasca U. All courses are self-paced, so theoretically you can complete it within 2 weeks. However, it will be extremely hard to get a decent grade in such a demanding course, if you have no prior knowledge of physiology. Btw, Athabasca U...
  19. Second Entry Programs With Winter or Spring Start Dates

Yep, hopefully we can get early offers! I heard the admission decision is solely based on most recent 30-credit gpa. Is it true? Do you know what the class size is?
  20. Second Entry Programs With Winter or Spring Start Dates

I submitted mine in early July as well. I am still taking one English course and will hopefully be able to send out the final transcript by mid-August. It seems U of C is doing rolling admissions as someone got an offer as early as September 20's, wh...
  21. Second Entry Programs With Winter or Spring Start Dates

Hi finger_crossed, I've also applied to Calgary degree-holder's route. Heard anything back yet?
  22. Western Compressed Nursing Program Fall 2014

Hey! I got an 3.89 cgpa for my last 60 credits (10 full-course equivalent) according to OMSAS 2014. How will Western convert it into a specific percentage, since OMSAS only provides a range of percentage for each OMSAS value? Thank you.
