    Took the NCLEX today

By God's grace...I PASSED! All 265 questions. Apparently it took the computer that long to decide!! Thanks to all who posted on my original thread. It really did give me some peace while waiting on the quick results. And now the real fun begins...working with the title I earned.

    Took the NCLEX today

Excellent point! I do believe I will pick back up reading for pleasure. You know, that activity many of us enjoyed doing before reading for school became a real chore sometimes! Or veg out on pinterest. Thanks for the suggestion. I hope to post my result Friday. Until then...

    Took the NCLEX today

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words! It really did give me some calming peace. This is good practice in not worrying about things I cannot change! The test is done. Nothing will change my result...whatever it is! If I didn't pass then I will start studying again. If I did pass then I would need to start the job process! So I will try to enjoy the in between! I'll post my result soon.

    Took the NCLEX today

I told myself I would not worry or be anxious...so much for trying! I took the NCLEX this morning. My goodness, I thought it was hard. I got finished in just under 4 hours with all 265 questions! Yes fellow NCLEX students... ALL 265! To read some posts, one would think I failed with that many questions. Other posts would say different! I am not sure what to think about the # of questions. Naturally, I tend to think I failed the exam. I mean after all, why would things go smoothly for me!! At this point, I am refusing to even ponder the Pearson Vue Trick. I will do the quick results when I can (I live in Tennessee) I am assuming I can check Friday morning. That sure is a long time away! So I just thought I would put my thoughts out there. If there is anyone with thoughts...please pass them this way.

    Looking for feedback/positive vibes

I am scheduled for the jan 2015. In Georgia. The scheduler is still confirming dates. And thanks for your kind words. I know I can do all I can to prepare and then do the best I can. The rest is out of my hands. But goodness, that's easy for me to say...so much harder to live by it!

    Looking for feedback/positive vibes

I am currently enrolled in the Excelsior online nursing program. I am scheduled to take the often dreaded CPNE sometime Jan 2015. An anxious, worrying and stressed ball of person I am! I am looking for advice, guidance and maybe postive vibes on anyone that has went through the online program and/or the CPNE. I want to do well and I want to go through the CPNE only one time; though I hear the pass rate is nothing to brag about! As a little background info, I was enrolled in a 4 year BSN program and got all the way to the end! And then my world came to a screeching halt when I did not pass one of my last test and due to their grade structure, you can only fail one nursing class and this fail was my second. It was my fault for not doing what I should have done...give more effort. Though there were other nuring classes I took and did really well. So I come into the online program feeling defeated and it has been an ongoing process since 2010. And I have finally come to the CPNE/clinical weekend that is supposed to be passed with 100% perfection. Any advice, help, guidance and such that can be given would be much appreciated. I have allowed myself (I know I should not have) to view some negative information on the CPNE so a balance is needed.
