    it is, I would just look for the cheapest apartments close to a train station. If you're near the green or orange line then the train will take you right to north station (and campus is like a mile...

    and I'm in the same boat as both of you haha. MGH wasn't my top choice (I actually already paid a deposit somewhere else) but I got in with a scholarship as well that makes it really hard to say no....
