I began my journey in the medical field as a Patient Care Assistant and Unit Clerk at my local hospital on a telemetry unit. I gained a lot of experience in CHF and AFib on this particular unit. I then moved to a job scheduling patients and learning the ins/outs of insurance referrals and authorizations for 1.5 years. I have worked as an LPN in family medicine and now in Addictions Nursing. I love my job and can't wait to see what the future holds! I am currently finishing my degree in Healthcare Management!
