    wow why 6 weeks?? What state are you in? I'm in NY, an "at will" state where you can be fired for anytime, any reason but you can also quit anytime, any reason (ie without notice). I worked somewhere...

    What? Sorry but if people need meds administered, especially insulin - a high alert drug(!), Potassium (!!), wound care, etc that IS skilled nursing! Sounds like they are getting away with paying CNAs...

    i'm an RN, but at the hospital where I still work per diem (i work Ft as a school nurse now), FT and PT LPNs are started at $15/hour day shift then $1-1.5 more for shift differentials. I think $18/hr...

    I graduated in Dec 2012 - age 26, second career. I already had a BA degree and had been working for $12/hour for a mortgage company. There are no jobs in any field, hence why i went to nursing school....
