    oooh i see! thanks guys...we have been giving IVP meds..in fact it was the first med I ever gave...syntroid IVP...all went well im glad to say... I guess the rationale behind why an LPN cant push meds...

    Funny this post came about! I just started taking Singulair for my allergies and it has worked wonders for my asthma....I am going to ask my MD if I can stop the Advair and use the singulair everyday....

    I am still a student but my clinicals this semester are on a surgery floor, all the pts are post op. The nurses there never have more than 5 pts at the most. This facility is in the city (not suburbs)...

    I agree, some MDs can be intimidating. Just be confident in your abilities, if you dont know something make note of it and guarenteed next time you will know! A girl in my clincial had a great idea....
