I started as a medical assistant looking for more actual patient care. I took a grant-funded personal care aide course which landed me a position working with clients in their homes. It also gave me an opportunity to teach others to perform ADLs to clients safely. I then got into a nursing assistant program (I have yet to take the test). And, am currently going into my final semester as a VN and getting ready to take the boards. I am looking for other students like me and maybe connect with others who may have insight in which direction I may ultimately want to take with nursing.
