we started clinicals on the 3rd or 4th week...I think? lol I'll have to look back and be sure ....it's been awhile but it was fairly early on in the semester....we had six clinical days this semester (today was my 4th...and I have 2 more)

second semester is some of the smaller hospitals (weatherford regional, Decatur, granbury, possibly mineral wells) then as you move on some of the bigger hospitals....JPS....Texas health I think...not sure which ones I'm pretty sure they said you rot...

I agree completely.....get ahead and stay ahead....if you have free time work ahead on your online work or reading or drug cards...or whatever....there's always SOMETHING you can be doing....there is rarely a day when I don't atleast work on SOMETHIN...

This is what works for me ....I write what our lecture will be...exams.....check offs....etc reading if the class requires it ...trial and error....I just tried different things until I found what worked best for me

I love the washi tape...it not only makes it easy to see what belongs to which class....makes it cute too

I use this one (this style...different print) It's an "appointment book" where the days are broken down into hourly segments....I disregard the hourly markings....I just like the way each day is broken down into separate boxes...it makes it very eas...

but is there any harm in applying? if you apply....and get into the ADN program then awesome....take the ADN spot....if you get in and decide you don't want to do that program...just decline the spot....and it will go to someone else.....

My biggest advice.....take all of the nursing school "horror stories" and "it will be the hardest thing you ever do" and "you will have no life" comments with a grain of salt..... I let all of those things completely freak me out after I was accepted...
