I took my A&P online and very much regret it. I received an "A" but I don't know nearly as much as I should to begin nursing school. I am retaking them in person now so I am not trying to learn the basics while in nursing school.

I have 3 children 8,3 and 1. My husband is a police officer so he works odd hours. I took 15-19 credit hours at a time for pre-reqs and survived somehow with a high GPA. It's a huge sacrifice! I rarely sacrifice time with my family though I find othe...

I think you'll be fine. I have those two course plus three more, which is my typical load, plus my 3 toddlers. It's just about time management and having the power to not sleep much! Lol
Look up scholarships that you qualify for. You'd be surprised how many are out there. I just started applying for them last week and have done atleast 40. They have ranged from scholarships for police officer spouses, veteran daughters, mom of more ...

I didn't purchase the book to begin with but after a couple weeks I realized the class was way easier with the book. Midterm and final were multiple choice all taken online with open book so super simple. I believe I received 98% of my midterm and 10...

I took this course last summer from them. It was fairly simple. I only spent about 2 hours a week between the weekly quiz's and essays. I received a 98% in it without much needing to be done. I enjoyed the material so the papers were very stress free...

I do 5 classes a semester with 3 kids, 2 of them are not in school yet. I have a very supportive husband so it helps a ton. I go to class on his off days and study at night when my kids go to bed.
I took my A&P 1 online and regretting the choice. I received an "A" in the course but I only have a rough understanding of the subject. I understand this is the base of nursing and I need to understand it thoroughly. I have a 5 week break and wo...

I would look into your schools retake policy. Some do not allow retake, some will consider the original grade a factor, some will take the new grade no questions asked. At my school it would be best to withdraw from the course. I'm not trying to dis...

I know my program requires a 70 on Teas for individual parts. It's pretty basic but it's filled with things some people may forget. The reading section, for example, has terms I forgot until I read the TEAS test manual.

The ASN program out here only requires 9/10 pre-reqs. So less than a year if you are going full time. The wait list is about 3 years though so it doesn't make since to not get a BSN which takes 3/4 years total

^This. I never understand when people ask if certain classes with be to difficult together when you are about to walk into a difficult nursing program. It had a bachelors degree when I started my nursing journey but I had 11 pre-reqs to do complete, ...
