I GOT IN!!!!!! They sent me an e-mail an hour ago confirming that I've been accepted! I'm freaking out I'm sooooo excitedddd!!!!!!

my application has changed to "faculty application review completed" and i am prayinggggg that that means that they want me! fyi, i check both my application and checklist every day to monitor any changes - they haven't notified me of anything.

It seems that I'm in the same place as a lot of you - FACULTY SCREENER4 :) Before it said that, it said "Application Sent to Committee" on my application page.

Also, @cherryhead81, it will say "application status: submitted" and "application sent to committee". Have you paid the processing fee yet?

I think you can put an "intended" date of taking the TEAS, but it will delay the review process...

I paid $70 (a month in advance) to take it at Monroe College. Maybe it depends on how soon you register and where you take it? Hope that helps!

It is really competitive, but don't give up hope! Did you apply to other schools as well?

Yeah, they can be pretty vague... Did you fill the application online? They should confirm that everything has been submitted

I applied in November and the process has been okay so far. The wait is killing me! The TEAS is stressful because of the timed element - have you been taking the practice tests? Remember that Downstate only looks at your math and reading scores!
