    I would definitely go to the instructor and let her know that you two did all the work... That way when it's presented, they will know that your group wasn't a group and she/he just might dock them...

    I would totally live at home...free room and board, Free utilities, food etc..... Equals out that 45 min drive. Reducing your stress as much as possible and if you can live with parents free as well...
