That's not right! I ask my aides to do things for me but if they have a logical response as to why they can't I understand! I would go to your manager and ask her this question but just in a "curious" way.
Whiny and needy...has perfectly working hands and can use a call light but can't pull their covers up or reach over and get some water. I'm happy to help people if they need it but c'mon...

100% agree. You can hug the family and tell them you'll miss the patient but do not cry. This is coming from someone who can cry at the drop of a hat. You need to be the professional.

Technically it was a med error I think. But I'm guessing you're not the only one who made the "error." I hesitate to blame anyone but the person who dropped the ball on transcribing the order. You didn't know!

Every time I've sent a resident out, with the exception of one, they've been kept at least 2 nights at hospital. I trust my judgement. You did the right thing.
Bring your lunch in an old plastic shopping bag. Problem solved. And let's not get into a discussion about "how can you afford a bag like that" or "what's wrong with a purse from Walmart?" We like what we like.

This is more what I meant. If my married with kids coworker tells our boss "oh I'm sorry I can't pick up Friday, I have Timmy's soccer game that night" it's understandable to them. If I say "oh sorry I just want the night off" or "I'm going to the ba...

How is a person supposed to know its a quote from a movie? Thank you for explaining it but to be fair it does sound like that poster is trying to call me out specifically on using the word "bullying."
