    there are tons of jobs here in Texas, don't know why you can't get one where you are now...we have so many openings ther are all kinds of sign on bonuses..extra incentives and so forth, good luck on...

    you are never too old to further your education if that is what you wanna do.I am also in my late 30's (hence the name illneverbe40). Do what you want, when you want, how you want, you are your own...

    I get discouraged too but i love being what I am and I am very proud of what I do. I do not want to become an RN, LVN is perfect for me....So blow 'em off and keep on taking care of your own business....
