I still mix.....clear first ®, then cloudy (N or 70/30); I NEVER mix Lantus, obviously...but then again, I had only one person on Lantus, and they transfered..... Haven't heard anything about not...
this situation has happened to me also. it is hard to "not play favourites", but it will happen. always remember that you made a difference in her life, and keep her memory alive in yours. :)...
I am looking toward becoming certified myself. One is not limited to just LTC's, but skin care is very impotant in that area (not only w/ the elderly).
Our local Hospice people wear scrubs at the Hospice House AND at my facility. When they do home visits, can wear street clothes OR uniforms; depends on clients. Suebird

Don't be discouraged. I was an LPN for many years, and yes, did get my RN. Yes, there are those who "put us down" for being LPN's, but they are not worth my time and thoughts. Continue to do what...
