------>same boat here! I have a bad couple of semester in my history due to a trauma in my life and since then I went on to graduate with honors with a 3.75 but overall I'm at a 3.01. I got a 96 on the HESI and still have been told I need to get my GPA up, it's been over a year now and I didn't bother to get on the community college wait lists for an RN program and I'm kicking myself for sure! At this point I'll take anything.
purplerose8----I also thought about doing LPN then a bridge, but none of the LPN schools around here seem to have classes that will transfer anywhere and the more research I do I realize it's just a waste of time and money.
I'm just filling up the time taking classes I would have to take once in a programs, pathophysiology, nutrition, etc. so then when I get in, I'll have that less to take and I can concentrate on the meat of the program being the nursing!
I refuse to give up!!! good luck all!
