    It is sort of the same. Very competive. Unfortunately I didnt pass the HESI test so I will not be admitted for Fall 2012. I am looking into a couple private schools

    Pace, Long Island University(has two campuses at diff locations-one in Brooklyn) and NYU are the three good schools I can think of at the top of my head for NYC, not sure about the long island area ....
