    Medical Assisting is a totally different avenue than LPN or RN. They assist us (very much) but here in CT they work under the direction of the LPN's and RN's. They assist w/ lab collection, VS etc....

    Here in Ct the LPN can teach a few things...CNA classes and Nurs. Assistant programs. It makes sense.......if we can patient teach then why not teach students other professions...we teach our patients...

    It is exactly the same over at NETI (hamden)...they aren't there for you & the director only arrived the last month of classes to see what all the hipe was that was floating around...lawsuits etc....

    I believe you only can work as a graduate lpn/rn for 90 days...call board of nursing to get advise! I would just be honest & tell them you are set to retake the exam. good

    It is a grest program because they have a 100% pass rate on nclex...you really do learn above & beyond your scope....but, it's intense! I didn't quite pay $28,000. It was about $20,000-$25,000....

    Connecticut is on o the most difficult states for nursing...low # of instructors & that reduces the amount of students taht are accepted into the program...other states don't have quite sooo long...

    connecticut -NETI....$25,000 for me....now @ aprox. $28,000 for evening 22 month program. You can get a bachelors in nursing for 1/2 that @ southern..but good luck getting in..lost line of students...
