Our program does not allow students to work the night before and then attend clinicals the next day. I think they even use it as grounds for dismissal from the program.

This is actually a common practice. I know of only one school in my area that doesnt require students to be a CNA before they can apply. Even the BSN program requires a cna license to meet application standards.

The BSN in my area requires ALL applicants to provide ACT scores regardless of how old you are or how long you've already been in school. I dont understand why since they dont even look at the act..the only thing they do is look at the top 76 gpa's ...

what about english and psych classes? nutrition...these are all very common in ADN programs...if they are having you take ALL these with your nursing classes..I would be wary... they would have to have a low retention rate OR a very sub par program.....
