@ loneran6er: i'm sorry you did not get in to lbcc. maybe cerritos will be better since you didn't need to give them all your transcripts. i'm sure you will get in to a program. i didn't get in last semester to any of the schools i applied to (6 schools) and LBCC is the first one that's going well, at least i hope i get in officially. since you have a degree already, you should try accelerated programs. science gpa: 3.6 overall: 3.8 i suggest just applying to as many schools as possible. i actually live in santa monica but i decided to move to whichever school accepted me. you will get in eventually!!! best of luck and keep your head up!!!!!!!

Yep, I did the same thing. I took it coz I was applying to CSU's. Nope, it wasn't too bad but I will start looking over the book again just in case. :) I actually applied last semester but I was just an alternate. I hope this is it!!!

Hi Jamie, Congrats on being accepted!!! I was just wondering what your letter said. I got a letter from LBCC that said to attend the advisement session on 3/25 but it doesn't say I'm officially in... did yours say you're definitely in?? I'm so nervous!!!! hehe. Thanks!!!

oh no... i thought i was in when i read it and then my friend got the same letter and she said we're just alternates. i'm # 77 which also doesnt make sense because it says i'm one of the 30 alternates. so there should only be 30. but then i remember during the info session they said that each qualified student gets a number from the beginning and that will be like their id # when they go into the lottery. so, im not sure if that number even has a bearing on which alternate goes in first. i wish they were more clear and they should have at least made a different letter for alternates... and not congratulate us and tell us we're officially accepted. i can't wait til monday! i feel like going there and talking to them in person... maybe the phones will be so jammed for all the people calling in... happy new year and good luck!!!
