Through the encouragement and support of a few close friends I started taking prerequisite classes for nursing school and got a job as a CNA in 2006. With that same support I graduated in '09 and have not looked back since.

    Andrew, for me it was a huge confidence boost just to get though the prereq's and then nursing school because I was basically a high school dropout with very little self-esteem and not much direction...
