i agree all of that should not be in the workplace. its unprofessional and mean. you should report it. i have worked with many wonderful non american nurses. i am sorry that you have been treated badly by others because of that.

I AGREE, i have seen far too many pts in vegatative states linger for years........what an awful way to exist....it must be like torture........cruel and unusual punishment..for everyone involved ,staff , family ,taxpayers.. no tubes or vents for me...

i have 2 nurses i am working with now who use wwts. they seem to like the company well enough.

i went there with medstaff. they left me homeless and not working for over a week. and didnt even apologize or pay the extra expenses i had. and it was their paperwork they "lost"......not anything on my end.....

the state of minnesota has good psych hospitals. try contacting them, they have pretty good ratios and acuity tools etc.

have you tried a different shift? or home care? i am doing psych nursing now, there is still an awful lot of time spent on your feet....but pts arent usually coding left and right, so its not that kind of busy.... but behaviors and property damage a...

hmmm lets see i wish i had known...... that any gossip at work will come back to bite me in the ass, even if i was right. that i should always have a complete change of clothes and a snack kept in my car. that i should always do the extra small thing...

every new grad makes mistakes, as long as you learn from them you shouldnt beat yourself up forever. have you looked into private duty home care? nursing homes?

you could also try working prn. least you could get a foot in the door if you an opening came up that you wanted. and you could have a little control over your schedule...

you should start waking her up about 2am, and dont let her go back to sleep. talk, snuggle whatever it takes. after a week of that she should get the idea. it worked for me.
